Colour Scheme Ideas

One idea I had was vector shapes which would include multiple colours. I like this idea because its bright and eye catching which will attract people to the magazine. I also think any image will go with a theme like this.

Another idea I've thought about is black and lime green, the background would be black with the text being lime green. I like this idea because lime green would really stand out from the black. This may seem really targeted towards one gender however this would only be one half of the magazine, the other half will be red and white, this will give it a balanced audience. However the front cover will be black with lime green because the target audience will mainly be men because it's about sport/football and generally there are more men then women who play football.

Another idea I have is green and yellow because they're both bright and it would be very eye catching. And it's not really set to one gender therefore its neutral. Although it's not really a colour that you'd associate with college students.

I have chosen to go with the vector shape theme because I don't feel like it is more of a male colour or more of a female colour so therefore it's neutral and will attract both genders. It also is very eye catching because of the random shapes and colours, so overall I think it was the best choice.
